Explore the Japanese art of comics! In this course cartoonist, illustrator, and instructor Natalie Mark 🔗 will guide students to create their own stories and illustrate them in a Manga style.
Study the variety of forms manga can take and how these styles differ from North American comic books. Get formal instruction in human anatomy, colour theory, drawing in perspective and the visual language used in Manga. Design and draw characters and environments, practice storytelling and learn how to prepare pages for production. This course is perfect for imaginative teens with a passion for Manga, illustration, and storytelling in general!
