Six Weeks

Hand build your own dessert sculptures! In this 6-week hand-building ceramic course, you will create a cupcake, donut, and cookie with the ceramic artist Solange Roy. She will demonstrate all the steps and techniques needed to create your dessert sculptures and provide hands-on help and advice throughout the course.

Week 1 – Making the cupcake base

Week 2 – Sculpting the cupcake “icing”

Week 3 – Making the donut

Week 4 – Final touch-ups and making the cookie

Weeks 5 & 6 – Glazing

Note: This course is open to all skill levels and will be a fully hand building ceramic course. The pottery wheel will not be used at all.
