Intermediate Watercolour (Tuesday Afternoon)

Tuesdays, 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
January 13 to March 17, 2026
Ten Weeks

Ready to move beyond the basics?

The course is designed for students who have already taken at least one prior watercolour class. Get all of the support and guidance you’d expect in a beginner class, but skip the basics of using watercolour for the first time.

Jinyoung Park uses carefully selected demo paintings to help students learn and develop their technical skills. Students in this class work on a new painting each week. Projects in this class are selected by the instructor and change every session.

Students are encouraged to experience a variety of subjects as they learn to embrace intentional and unintentional touches, controlling and letting go of brushes, and allowing and accepting flaws in their work.

Suggested Material List:

  • 9”×12″ Arches cold-pressed watercolour pad,
    • (or 9”x12” Strathmore 400 series wired watercolour paper pad),
