Are colored pencils just pencils that are colored?
Graphite and colored pencils have a clear relationship in their structure, however as with all tools, how one wields them can change how you see and record the world. One of the main stays of this course will be how to apply basic color principles of Value, Saturation and Temperature and involve experiments that will crossover with fundamentals of drawing. We will look at how to describe subjects using layering and line, draw on 3D objects and look at how to use color to express meaning and symbolism.
