Five Weeks
*Stair Access Only
In this course Elise Nadeau 🔗 outlines the beginning steps of shape making on the pottery wheel. Learn the important behaviours of clay and its properties in order to create works successfully. Join us as we shape, mold, and create together in this immersive and transformative pottery experience!
This course will focus primarily on the creation of mugs and bowls; crucial steps to beginning your wheel journey! Glazing and other design elements will also be addressed throughout the course.
This class is for BEGINNER STUDENTS ONLY. Beginner spots are very limited and students planning to work independently without following the course plan, need to join an intermediate class.
*Forum Art Centre will supply 7lbs of clay, which is sufficient to create four to five pieces on the wheel.
Note: This class is held in our basement studio with stair access only.
