Privacy Policy

Forum Art Centre respects and protects your privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade our mailing lists. The information you provide will be used to keep you informed on the company’s activities including classes, workshops, special events, fundraising and community opportunities through periodic contact. We promise to protect your personal information and adhere to all legislative requirements.

If at any time you wish to be removed from any of our mailing lists, please follow the “unsubscribe” link in our newsletter or contact us at Register@forumartcentre.com or 204-235-1069.

Terms of Service

Forum Art Centre is an associate member of the Manitoba Artist Run Centres Coalition (MARCC) and is governed by a Board of Directors.

We provide art instruction to the public, and occasionally host events in which students or artists may show and/or sell their work.

From time to time, we photograph classroom activities and students’ work for educational and promotional purposes. You may opt out by notifying the front desk. Photo consent forms will be emailed to the parents of students in our child and teen classes.

Classes or instructors may be subject to change without notice.

All artworks left behind when classes end becomes the property of Forum Art Centre. Work students wish to keep must be retrieved within two weeks of the close of each session (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall). We are not responsible for any artwork unclaimed by the deadline.
Registration fees are due at the time of registration and must be received within 48 hours to secure your spot in a class. If payment is not received within 48 hours, your registration will be cancelled without any reminders or notice.

In the event of cancellation due to low registration, a full refund will be issued.
Refunds will only be issued if notification of withdrawal is received ten working days before the first day of the class or workshop.
Refunds will not be issued after classes commence except for medical reasons (doctor’s note required)
All Refunds will be subject to a $25.00 administration fee.

Land Acknowledgement

Forum Art Centre is in Treaty 1 territory, the traditional and ancestral lands of the Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininiwak, Dakota, and Dene peoples, and the homeland of the Red River Métis. Our water is sourced from Shoal Lake 40 First Nation in Treaty 3 territory, and much of our hydro-electricity comes from Treaty 5 territory in northern Manitoba.
