The Forum Art Centre was established in 1964 to provide educational and cultural enrichment for the art community in and around Manitoba. Founded by Nikola Bjelajac and Steve Repa who worked diligently to create a non-credit art organization with instruction available to anyone willing to learn. Their dedication in making art education accessible to all in the community remains a foundational value of Forum Art Centre as we approach our 60th anniversary.

As an artist run centre, non-profit organization and registered charity, to continue operating Forum Art Centre depends on the generosity of donors, volunteers, and students. With the utmost gratitude, we are honored to say that for 60 years the arts community in Winnipeg has supported Forum Art Centre through every bump in the road. Stay tuned in the coming weeks for some retrospective content as we deep dive into the past and look forward to the future!
