Keep your skills sharp, pursue your own projects, and enjoy the camaraderie of our community. The Summer Clay Studio Pass is designed to give our clay students unlimited access to our scheduled studio hours all summer long.
A limited number of Summer Clay Studio Passes are available to students who have taken at least one (1) clay class at Forum Art Centre during the past year to maximize student access to the scheduled time. Students will be expected to self-monitor during peak times to ensure fair access to resources. Shelf space, wheels, and a firing schedule with access dates to the glaze room are provided.
Intermediate and Advanced students can register without contacting the Centre. Beginner students need to call the Centre or talk to their instructor to find out if this program is appropriate for their skill level.
Note: Firing limits for the Summer Clay Studio Pass are approx. 56x39x28 cm/45 l (22×15 ¼x11 “/12 gallon) – about half the volume of a mini fridge. Supplementary firing may be provided for a fee, if there is kiln space. As always: we work at Cone 6 temperature and all glazes brought in by students must be tested before items are fired in our kilns.
Please remember to read over our Clay Studio Rules (click link) and sign and submit your Studio Contract (click link) by Tuesday, June 25th at 3pm.
