Ten Weeks
In this fun and engaging course with Nico Narváez students will create an artistic story book using a variety of acrylic painting techniques. The first half of the course students will focus on developing basic drawing and painting skills. The second half will apply those skills to develop an original story book that includes words and images demonstrating students’ creativity.
Along the way, students will learn how to care for their tools and materials, express themselves creatively through acrylic media, and articulate the meaning behind their artwork—both verbally and visually. The course also encourages thoughtful critique and respectful engagement with others’ creative work.
