Ten Weeks
Are you ready to get your hands into some clay and build something unique?
Gain knowledge of the fundamentals of clay using pinch, coil and slab building methods in a creative and nurturing environment with Sage Sorokan 🔗. Demonstrations will introduce a variety of project-based construction methods as well as surface techniques, glazing and firing.
Participants are welcome to follow the projects or work from their own ideas. Individual guidance will be provided and brainstorming as a class will be encouraged. Work at your own pace and enjoy exploring hand-built ceramics.
NOTE: This class now welcomes beginners, when spots are available!

Materials can be purchased locally at The Sounding Stone.
Note: Your instructor will review our firing volume limits during your first class. Instructors will have bins to help students visualize their volume limit for the ten-week session. If you want to purchase a bin or bring one from home, please aim for these dimensions when choosing your bin: 56x39x28 cm/45 l (22×15 ¼x11 “/12 gallon) – about half the volume of a mini fridge.
