Ten Weeks
Come sharpen your understanding of the art of acrylic painting with Michel Saint Hilaire 🔗.
This class is an introduction to the acrylic paint medium. A ten-week session that will require some drawing at times to strengthen the result when wanting to interpret the world around you. Knowledge of some drawing techniques is a sure way to build your confidence when considering any artistic medium.
The focus will be on composition, how to show depth, perspective, correct proportion, while enjoying the wonders of paint and the power of observation/concentration. You will surely learn some additional tricks of this 2D artform and leave with some fundamentals that will strengthen your understanding of this meditative art practice.
There is plenty of room as well to experiment as you express yourself throughout each class.
First class will be entirely based on drawing; therefore, we only require that you bring a few sheets of paper
(4 approx.) and a pencil. We can also supply these items along with erasers, rulers, paper in case you have none.
(NOTE: Art supply list will be discussed during the first class along with some suggestions for the ten week session.)
