Come sharpen your understanding of the art of acrylic painting with Michel Saint Hilaire 🔗. Learn valuable techniques while gaining knowledge for capturing accurate still life and figures. Students will refresh their fundamental skills, complete drawing exercises, and confidence for future painting endeavors.

Prior experience working with acrylic paint is recommended for students in this class, as it is not designed for true beginners.

Note: The class will include two sessions with a live model

Large format drawing paper approx. (11 by 17 to 16 by 20 inches)
Canvas paper/canvas approx. 11 by 17 inches
Acrylic brushes (diverse sizes) rounds, flats, filbert…
Palette
Palette knife
Green tape
Pencil
Spray bottle
Rag/paper towel
Acrylic paint (suggested acrylic colors): titanium white, cadmium yellow medium, cadmium yellow light (lemon), cadmium red deep, dark magenta (Quinacridone), phthalo/phthalocyanine blue, ultramarine blue, vermillion green, sap green, burnt sienna, raw umber, burnt umber, black

Note: We will be discussing the supply list on the first evening of the Acrylic painting class. You are welcome to substitute any of the supplies above with your own favourites!
