Intuitive painting is the practice of letting go of fear and expectations and learning to trust your intuition. It is about devoting time to let whatever happens on the page happen – to be guided by the unknown and learning to work with it and not against it.

This class is designed for intermediate artists seeking to deepen their understanding of watercolour and enhance their creative expression. While we will build upon existing watercolour skills, the focus will be on experimenting with techniques that unlock your playful, imaginative, and most authentic selves. Students can complete a series of nuanced studies each week, allowing for exploration of personal style and technique. By the end of the course, participants will be equipped with a tool box of skills to help their as well as produce several final works that effectively express their unique visual vocabulary and artistic voice.
