Ten Weeks
No class on Monday May 18. 

Refine your knowledge of some drawing fundamentals and strengthen your concentration skills during this 10-week drawing session while enjoying the friendly environment at the Forum Art Centre.

The class focuses on diverse crucial drawing components to best capture your subjects. We We will work on how to convey depth, proportion and volume in 2D.  Subjects will be still life, figures, and, at times, some photographic references.

Students must have some prior drawing experience to participate in this class.

Class Fee: $290

Recommended Materials:

For the first class you may bring any paper and pencils, we can also will accommodate to get you started! However, please note that supplies are generally not provided for adult classes (unless explicitly stated so). There will also be a discussion pertaining to the material list below during your first class.

  • Large drawing pad, (approximately 16  x 20 inches)
  • News print paper pad, (approximately 16 by 20 inches)
  • 2H graphite pencils
  • HB graphite pencils
  • Blending stumps
  • Charcoals/ vine, willow, compressed…
  • Eraser
  • Ruler
  • Colour pencils
  • Painter’s tape or similar
  • rag
  • Additional dry/oil pastels, coloured pencils, conte, are also wonderful additions
