Drawing is one of the most important tools an artist can have

Learn the basics of drawing with James Culleton 🔗 . Cover basic drawing techniques using a variety of mediums including pencil, pen, charcoal and pastels. Explore exercises using portraiture and perspective, as well as drawing from life and from still images.

Note: This class includes one session with a live model

Suggested Material List:

Pencils 6H to 6B ( a good selection would be 6H, 4H, 2H, HB, 2B, 4B, 6B)
Eraser ( white or Kneaded)
Sharpies, 1ultra fine tip and 1 fine point
Charcoal – compressed or vine
Oil pastels – set of 10 or 12 colours
Ruler
8×11 sketchbook
A couple Blending Stumps or Tortillion (compressed paper pencils for smudging)
