Five Weeks
In this class, Kelly Campbell 🔗 will teach students to create a DIY screen printing screen and use it to create prints on fabric and paper. Participants will leave the class with the ability to screen print at home at the kitchen table. Possibilities include printed clothing, custom textiles, printed wallpaper, and more!
This class is suitable for Adults and Teens (12 and up).
Note: Teens registering for this class will have all materials supplied by Forum Art Centre.

Suggested Material List:
Frame or embroidery hoop, one or two per person. Note: The frame needs to be flush to a flat surface on one side.
Glue gun and glue or staple gun and staples.
Screen printing mesh material or other generic mesh material.
Screen tape or packing tape.
Coated freezer paper or sticker paper/ contact paper.
Scissors, craft knives, cutting mats.
Towel (to use to with iron/ironing board).
Plastic cards to use as squeegees – old gift cards, student cards, etc.
Black markers.
Paint brushes.
Screen filler.
Screen printing ink.
